A common coin but well struck and pleasing on the eye, it has that lovely pea green colour that is hard to capture.

Very nice coin and great thread @Valentinian ! It is more tough for me as I really do not collect the more common coins!

I have a bad habit of liking the niche, uncommon, hard-to-find, somewhat "who-cares?" type coins! Most of my collecting habits are not always main-stream, rather more the historical coins as well as the backwater histories too. I really do not get too excited how numismatically beautiful they are, rather, are they a placemarker in history (hear that @norenxaq ?)

Everytime I found one in my database, it is not what folks would normally collect here, or is to uncommon...

I do not collect much past the 1st C CE, and my LRB's are pretty ragged...

I will try o post a couple to fit the thread: :)

BOTTLECAP - I just thought this was cool:

I also have a Julian double majorina, yes a common coin but I find the patina quite pleasing. I also like the reverse with the APIS bull.
