Well, today is the big day that all of us have been waiting for. Hoping that there will be something Numismatic under the ole Christmas tree. overall, it was a good christmas

 

Well - I gotta coin scale. Now I have to figure out what to weight the coins on - I dislike the metal piece that what you are weighing goes on. Even though I missed the other thread - I did get me a 1830 CBH and 1906 IHC.

I took the kids to see grandpa today and man I was surprised. My old man got me a 1913 type 1 nickel in MS-65. Its going to look great in the type set. Also got a new red book. Got to love Christmas time. Happy Holidays everyone.

 

My son got me a silver spoon from hawaii, with a coin image of the umi kaneta, hawaiian dime, my daughter got me a westward nickel set, the wife gave me the 2008 red book, and grandma gave me a 1991 uso dollar and a liberty head quarters album.

 

i got two 5 dollar rolls of utah quarters 1 roll from each mint that say utah residents only and two individuals that are encapsulated and 10 halves 2 where silver a new watch some accesories for my laptop and the usual socks and underwear lol

 

Everyone in my family knows I'm addicted to coins. So here's what I got:

1 year subscription to the greysheet weekly.
1 year subscription to Coin World magazine.
A $40 gift certificate to a favorite coin store.

 

I received an 1884-S Morgan MS-60...

 

I didn't get anything numismatic related. the subject was touched upon, and the resulting course of action was that in the future money would be sent to me with the distinction that it could only be used for whatever the sender states -mand that could be coins, currency, or possibly name of a particular country even. it sounds like it could be a boring gift, just plain old money.... but to me, I think it would be cool.

As far as numismatics, I got six rolls of nickels (two 1950's dates - it was a was).

Outside of that, I was given the deed to one square foot of land in Scotland, thereby officially making me a Laird.

 

i was busy celebrating christmas all year
