I've been spending some time attributing some recently cleaned LRB coins.. Been on a long run of Valens, Constans, Constantine.. so when something slightly different popped up I was second guessing myself.. Sorry about the pics but no matter what I tried I could not get a better one. The legends are very soft and I just can't decipher enough to be sure on the obverse. Just first 2 are FL and the final 6 letters for sure.. IVSNOBC. Not great in the pic but I can see the mint as Siscia. My guess is: Delmatius (Caesar 335-337) Obv: FLDELMATIVSNOBC Rev: GLOR IAEXERC ITVS Mint: Siscia *I am hoping I am correct as I do not have a Delmatius. Any input is appreciated - even if I am way off.
Agree. Looks like a gamma before the SIS mintmark, making it RIC vii, p. 456, 239; LRBC 753; Cohen 13; Sear 16878.
Excellent! That was super fast - thank you all. Excited to have a Delmatius and that I may be getting a bit better at this. Cheers!
