    My 1909 VDB DDO FS-1101
    I purchased this in SEGS slab as XF45, sent it to NGC and upgraded to AU50,
    PCGS had a special now in Secure holder , Tru-Viewed still AU50 1909 DDO before after NOW-vert FS 1101.jpg

    Yeah, but what did you do to it in between SEGS and NGC?
    A little bit of dip-oreeno? Some of that darkness from 1 to 5 o'clock on the obverse isn't there anymore in the NGC slab. Anyway it doesn't show.

    Very much like!

    @mlov43
    I rubbed chicken fat on it........not really.
    All I did was crack out and send it in, It may have been the way I imaged it.

    I obtained a 1914-D in EF-45 for darn good price at the Central States show a couple of months ago... I have the 09s in EF-40. Both are in PCGS slabs.

    Your DDO 09 is pretty sweet, btw.
