    Ok I went to the Canadian websight and li looks like a far to me can I get a second look

    It looks near to the leaf to me. But I am not an expert.
    It's still a good coin and I would keep it in a heart beat.

    Without drawing lines, just look at the 9-3 gap vs the 3-2 gap. If they are the same, it's a near. If the 3-2 gap is thinner, then it's a far. Your's is a near

    Thank you I have a 1949 5 cent and on the websight it said this variety can have what there calling a hearing aid the one I've got looks really close

    I looked up that one on my Canadian Coins price guide site and didn't see any variety listed. So please post the link, or copy and paste this variety.
