Opinions on this Seated Dime

    Wish I could examine it in person but, absent that opportunity, I'm going a bit further than before . . . AU50 . . . maybe even 53.

    I told myself a 53!

    It'll be heading in hopefully within a week or two.

    I'm thinking VF-35. It looks just a bit too weak to be EF-40.

    Ok. Help the old poot out here. Is it acceptable to clean a coin with acetone. I thought it was a no no to dip, clean, etc. Please excuse my ignorance on the subject, but that is why I come here. Always something to learn.

    Yes

    Dipping can be very beneficial, as far as what can and cannot be done it varies by what the coin looks like. They can all be bad in the hands of someone who doesn't know what they're doing though so most people shouldn't try it
