I was thinking about sending this 1923S Standing Liberty Quarter in for grading. I'd like others thoughts on what you think it would grade at? 1923S Standing Liberty Quarter, Obverse.jpg

AU details environmental damage. Pitting on the reverse.

Grade doesn't matter as the retail price of the coin isn't worth the cost of grading. Details and reverse pitting. The reverse looks XF.

Did anyone notice some goop at the date and what appears as the same to the left of it near the rim? I might go AU on the obverse but there is some wear or a weak strike at the wings. Net XF with possibly a details label.

If looking to sell, it may be good to certify it. I dont think it will straight grade though.

About $300.00 in a low grade. I don't think you will get a straight grade but I do think you'd get that price.

No. Is there a pricing guide for "DETAILS" coins?

If you go to the above link and set the grade range from 0 to 0 (i.e.-Details coins), you can sort the results by price and get a “back of the envelope” estimate for what an XF Details 1923-S may sell for. Obviously it goes without saying that Details coins’ problems have various degrees of severity (and various impacts on price), but it appears that $500 to $1000 is a reasonable guesstimate range for XF Details.
