Got this coin for 3 dollars. I thought thought it was neat so I got it but I think there is something not right about it. Before I say it can anyone see anything not correct?
Knock off the games. Most don't want to be "challenged" to guess what's wrong unless it's from a recognized expert (and even that's sketchy). If you have a specific question, ask it. Now for the real comments, for 3 bucks you can't really lose, so you did well. I haven't seen a bid board in years (no make that decades), so that's cool. I would keep frequenting the dealer who runs it. When I was a kid, the local dealer always cut me great deals as long as I didn't become a nuisance (still wish I would have bought the AG3 1798 dime for $20)
It wasnt a "game" I wanted an unbiased opinion before you hear mine. My question is Where is the Cert Number?
A quick google search found this. Looks like some outfit called the Collectors Alliance contracted with ANACS in 2008 to put together these sets. Probably did the same for 2009. Still, I think you did well for 3 bucks
Bid Boards are fun. There is a coin shop in Bellingham, Ma that does a monthly board. If I had more time, I would go every month.
