Hi, my daughter got this miscut 1969 20 dollar bill from her customer. Wanted to see if anyone knew if it was worth anything. Thanks in advance
Since the Reverse side looks more centered properly I don't think it is a Miscut but an Off Center Printing on the Front. You can still see a bit of the border on the top so these types are common. Not really desirable by collectors. Also the condition is an important factor and that bill is not in good shape. I say face value.. $20.00 @SteveInTampa can give a better Idea of what's going on if I didn't explain it properly
Miscut notes come in different variances, and typically officially become an error note when part of an adjoining note is visible. The OP’s $20 is a poorly centered note. If you hold US currency up to a bright light, and look at it from the back, you’ll notice the back design fits into the front design. How well it fits in is called registration. Poor centering is usually more noticeable on the front because of smaller margins. This sample is a minor error with a sliver of the adjoining note visible in the lower margin.
