Gold Penny?? Too Good to be True

    There are no gold pennies. I found this plated one recently.
    Yours looks like a normal one in decent condition. If it's gold (I don't see it)
    then it's plated, no extra value.

    The only gold cents known are some Indian Head cents that were struck on Gold $2.50 blanks. All from early 1900's.

    Looks like a relatively untoned 1964. I suspect after he uses it for awhile it well tone browned from the repeated skin oil and salt contact.
