They aren't half rolls, since there are 40 nickels in a roll. If you have $50 in pennies and open 2 rolls, you have $49 in pennies. I agree with Kentucky, if you can sell that right now for $30, take it. $30 today for $25 worth of nickels, that are going to be worth $25 in ten years with the buying power of $15 today, you make out better with the $30. Not familiar with the speared buffalo thing, and it would have to be worth a lot to go through all those nickels, and then spend them at face value.
Yup, but no one's listening .. or reading properly. They see a "$" an attribute everything with that symbol. oops, I meant in my original it's not $25 dollars.
I already made up my mind. I opened 10 rolls already and I gonna put them in a canvas bank bag as a novelty per se.
Could have taken them to Philly and gotten the silver toned box autographed by Jamie Franki. Some people lack imagination I guess. Oh well, at least he can now wallop himself over the head with a canvas bag of nickels.
Here is a photo of the current change in my pocket. That's some lint on the right, and Blistex on the left. Now let me post 30 photos and ask questions about the 1982 penny that's always going to be worth 1 cent.
