I was looking at buying a real 1955 DD. Whilst looking I saw a bunch of $5-$10ish 1955 D/D identified cents. Really confusing since the real 1955 DD is over $1k. I need to look more into what in the world it was when I have time, but I suspect it's what your cent has.

D/D means Repunched Mint Mark.. D over D

    Are you understanding it right?
