I have no idea if this is going to work. I have tried and tried to get a photo file to upload from Photobucket, every time I try all I get is an invalid path error. I really would like for all of you to see the coin that my daughter found in the yard. When she dug it up it was in suprisingly good shape all we did to it was wash it with hot tap water, no soap or cleansers. after we toweled it dry this is what we had. The jewelry holder that it is in was already attatched we are afraid to remove it ourselves. The coin is very loose in the setting so I don't think there is any solder involved. Some of the other things we have found include numerous Indian head cents and lots of local trade coins. In the 1880's there was a hotel where the front of our property sits. Just so you know we haven't used a metal detector once for all of our finds. When we have tried you can't go more than an inch or two without hitting nails or pipes etc. Thats kind of the follow up on my story from the other day.
