There is talk that they are restoring millions of photos around the internet. They figured out that blackmail did not work.

Saw that happening. I pulled everything off Photobucket when they started their $400/year thing. I understand that their CEO has been replaced.

This will help restore thousands and thousands of threads on all the coin forums. It should restore thousands of images I have posted over the years. It's great news.

I did the same. I downloaded everything I had on the bucket, just incase I didn't have a copy of all the images.
Not many folks need their service on coin forums any more but they do offer other image services that are pretty cool.

It would be great if it would restore photos on coin forums.

Don't get overly excited. In all honesty it's probably just a matter of time until they go under with how many people they drove away with the previous decisions. The overwhelming majority of those people won't be returning and there are even more alternative options now than there was before

True. This was a deal where the customers sent a clear message to the company.

I wonder if it's possible for the CT site to capture the PB images and save them here. It would probably cost too much but that would be cool.

That site got really 'wild weasleish' with all the adware and crap.........I couldn't give a 'hang' for for their mea culpaishness. When they tried to extort money from me I turned my back and moved on. Maybe I need some time to heal..........

Really was and they were slow to react to it too. If you have any favorite threads anywhere I’d start downloading the pics to flash drives.

I'm safe. I have all the images saved on two different drives.
