The spotting is most regrettable, but an excellent find nonetheless. Congrats! It's always nice to see the real thing.... for a change. ;)

Sweet Cherrypick!! And a heck of a good price too. ;):cigar:

It looks like it could go 65RD maybe 66RD based on the sellers pics. Too bad about the spotting, I think that is the only thing really holding it back from being a lock 66. I could be wrong though.

I hear you.. I don't even click on the threads asking "Is this a double die cent?" anymore.

Sadly, I can't blame you at all. Almost every day I tell myself to just avoid such threads, but then remember how much crap and misinformation is spewed here at times. This makes me feel bad and sends me right back to it.

I do wish I had your restraint, though. After all, it's not like anyone listens anyway.

And just another case for taking a look at slabs that truly don't interest you!
Sweet cherry pick....one never knows what one may find in a slab that is over looked by most.
I missed a nice 1913 s toned buffalo last Saturday in a SEG's slab , as I asked the dealer to hold it and he misunderstood and sold it .:banghead:
I'm sure the buyer saw the exact same thing I saw!

The spots limit it to 64, but the strong RPM is very nice.
