Someone at work bought stuff with this lot: From Series 1974 - 1995. $200 in old $5 notes. I just picked it up for the heck of it. And just an hour later: It's the most wonderful time of the year....
Cant say too much about the group of 5's cuz I cant see the detail..but nice group! The Richmond $100 star had a printing of 640,000. That note in CHCU is worth some nice $$$ the Schwartz/Lindquist 7th Edition list it at 3k in CHCU. Your note may go as XF due to the centerand corner folds and general wear...nice note! The Odd thing is the SN# it is reported in this reference that the the low is E00005476* and the high is E00583825* your note has a higher SN than the listed high! If anyone has any different numbers, please let me know?? RickieB
super nice notes!!! if the printing had a run of 640,000 thenhis note would fit in that range. the range of low to high RickeB posted doesnt ad up to 640K.... all my source tells me is they printed 640k, it doesnt give serial ranges.
Hey Daggerjohn...Yep I know it does not make sense or add up..makes me wonder if there is an error on that particular listing in the book.?? Anyone else have a SN reference high to low?? Thanks all... RickieB
