THIS IS A 1973 S SMALL DATE PENNY. THE S IS SMALL THAN THE LARGE DATE 1973 S.

I DO NOT AGREE. I RAN A SHEET OFF THE INTERNET FROM THE USA COIN BOOK AND IT SHOWS THE SMALL DATE WITH A SMALLER S.

Not sure how much I trust you here buddy, considering you can’t tell the difference between the number “0” and the number “3”.

it's not the "S" that signifies Large Date vs Small Date. It's the Date that signifies it. Notice the "7" dropping down more, identifying it as a Large Date.

The "S" would identify a Small MintMark vs a large MintMark. Or die deterioration, etc.

notice that usacoinbooks description does not include anything about the "S", but the "7" in the date
