    Thank you. Sometimes I hit on one or two that are presentable. :)
    I was surprised, considering that I do not focus in later Roman (I affectionately call the "Cartoon Era"), that I found a reasonable Leo I.

    Most of my late Romans are pretty ratty.

    Are we sure the Romans had not invented ROBOTS at that time?

    Beautiful denarius, Nerva! Interesting portrait! I don't remember seeing an image of Marcus Aurelius with such a stern look on his face.

    A lovely coin @Nerva Here is my only coin of Marcus Aurelius.

    Marcus Aurelius, 161-180. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.31 g, 6 h), Rome, 173. M ANTONINVS AVG TR P XXVII Laureate head of Marcus Aurelius to right. Rev. IMP VI COS III German captive seated left at foot of a trophy. Cohen 300. RIC 280. Well centered and attractively toned. Nearly extremely fine.

    From the collection of W. F. Stoecklin, Amriswil, Switzerland, acquired prior to 1975.

    Notes: RIC 88 has VIIC in the exergue.

    Salus standing right, leaning with her left hand on a garlanded altar inscribed SALVS and feeding with her right a serpent coiled around a tree.
