I’m planning to make an offer on a partial Lincoln set online. So, I’m looking for opinions on this coin since it is potentially the most valuable coin in the set. Any opinions on authenticity would be greatly appreciated.

It would be really difficult to tell the variety. The reverse plays a big part. There are weak D's and no D variety's. There are certain characteristics that say it is one of them, and not altered.

It's not a no D. Wrong die pairing.

    I suspect it's a 22 -D that's just worn. I can still see a D.

The photo makes it difficult to see how distinct the second 2 looks, so I couldn't draw a reliable conclusion without examining the coin in person.
