I've just started seeing pennies for sale and on auctions for pennies that have a close AM in America on the reverse side of the coins. Are these collectable, good to buy and resale? I believe that the 1992 s pennies were garnering more attention than most. Would these be a noteworthy investment?

I think if you are buying these for a collectable , and the price is reasonable , then I would buy them. As for buying for re-sell , maybe 10 or 15 years down the road you will double your money. If the prices are low then they would be a worthwhile purchase to add to a collection , but to expect to make a big dollar off of these is a bit of a stretch I think. This is only my opinion. Welcome to the forum , I am sure you will get more members answering your questions that know more about the close and wide AMs . Good Luck but do not spend a lot on these , I think now that people are more aware of these more and more will come out for sale.
