The most important factor is not the album, although it has a lesser significance.
The most important factor is storage environment.
    You need:
-- a cool place that keeps a relatively constant temperature.
-- a place that maintains low humidity conditions.

Try CAPS... They are more money, but will truly protect your coins...

With our climate down here, none of them work very well. I have used lots of Dansco albums and have fared pretty well, but the intercept shield albums with the slip covers really do a better job. The caps albums use airtite and are customizable and would offer great protection, but I’m not too big of a fan of the look personally.

I 100% agree with the storage method. I live in a semi arid climate, Any and all albums that I have are stored in my basement, (my office) It stays around 64 degrees all year round. I use Dansco, Whittman, Littleton. And Some Wayte Raymond, I might have slightly a change in tone but not much.
And they have been stored down here for years. If I do notice a change, If drastic it comes out and goes into the coin cabinet, to save the others.

"caps" pages for airtites is the way I went for my toned Canadian quarters and halves is the way I went. sorry these pics are so dark but you get the general idea of what they look like and size of coin...

The advantage the Intercept (tm) material has is the sacrificial copper in the product. If you live in an area where humidity or reactive atmosphere is a problem, You might use this type of copper sheets, after gently roughing up to expose "raw copper' to the surface on the insides of your albums or storage boxes. The capsules have no active agents, so you are only assured by the tightness of the fit.

The biggest, most important thing to do, no matter where you live. Do NOT, under any circumstance, touch the coins, with your bare hands. If you're going to store BU or Proof coins in an album, (with or without capsules), you should ALWAYS wear good clean soft cotton gloves, when handling coins.

Other than that though, I would have to go with an album that has the coins in a capsule, and then the capsule in properly sized holes in the album pages.

That’s honestly not true at all. Gloves are completely unnecessary you just hold the coin by the edges. If someone wants to they can wear them though cotton gloves carry dust and stuff but wearing gloves is absolutely not the most important thing at all
