    Hey guys.

I have a charles dickens two pound coin, the milling on the side is the correct way up. Will looks to be spelt WIII. The dots around the queens head
disappear half way around, the writing around the 0queens head is very low compared to the design intended. The writing on the reverse is doubled or looks to be striked twice. I have weighed it and it's the exact same as the composition on the royal mint site. I just want to hear peoples opinions and if anyone knows the value of these?

These coins were for the most part a real headache for the royal mint beading missing and distorted appearance of the central disc plagues the £2 coins even today you only have to look on ebay and you will see hundreds of them the most famous "so called error" is with the queen facing the wrong way or upside down. Possible? yes . Probable ? for any real one there are 100 that have been punched out and put back by scammers seeking a quick profit. the doubling will be from movement as the die struck the coin giving it that mushy spread profile . It is a minor mint error but there are a lot of these around and quality control at the RM in recent years is shocking
