    1957 D Lincoln penny wheat reverse adverse the L is missing also the B is filled in what does that mean need some help thank you

    If they're visible, they're not missing.

    Also, the only reason your coins appears to be "red" is because it has been cleaned.

    It's interesting even though it has been cleaned, and it's true that most of the L is missing, probably a filled die. The filled lettering on the B adds to its interest. It's fun to collect these little abnormalities.
