Judging by his feedback it looks like he's had a bunch of these over the past 6 months or so. Maybe somebody tipped off eBay and they pulled the listings? Just Rapala fishing lures now.

I wonder if they've gotten more lenient with seller's because back in 2004 I was selling Knives on ebay as a side business and I inadvertently broke the rules by listing a type of knife that wasn't allowed. I instantly got the 2 week ban hammer.

The webbing/strip from the 1943 cents was sold off as scrap metal. I don't see much else being sold.

The webbing today is typically chopped up for ease of handling, but yes it can be acquired legally. The GSA sells the scrap metal as government surplus and anyone is able to bid on it. It typically is repurchased by the firms that produce strip for the government but if you out bid them it's yours. Be forewarned though that the stuff is sold in multi-ton lots. Do you REALLY want that much of it?

So sorry I was not able to keep on this. Thanks for this info, relieves me somewhat. I have not been able to log in on CT since my last post. I keep getting TLS errors about this site not being secure. Somehow, a minute ago I was able to bypass this from a sideways motion that got me back in. Not sure when I will be able to get back here again after I close out for the night.

I have had to deal with the Feds in the past. About 10 years ago they came here and were asking all sorts of questions about a drug dealer several houses away from me. They were parking an unmarked vehicle at the end of my property with a listening post for their tapped phone. This is just a little village but when they made the sting about 6 months later this village was all over the news. Not a bad couple of guys really, we talked off and on for months. The State Police and local Cheif were not too happy tho as they were not let in on what was happening until it was over.

I understand their complaints as the Feds come and go while the State Police and the local Chief reside daily. But if the Feds tell more people, including local police, word seems to get out and that gets the crooks off Scott free. Bet that was a little exciting for you and later for the town where you reside.

It was a bit exciting. My village is very tiny and one of 5 in the larger township. But all 5 villages are a sneeze and you missed it kind of thing. It was good to get rid of the one bad apple of course. Now we have a traveling salesman who sells all his scrips around here. His time is coming. And he's 70 years old for crying out loud. When it comes to drugs I will participate in helping out. The rest of small town drama can stay where it's at.

Another pusher that can go. It never hurts to get involved in your local community.
