    For the record, I voted 58, but the actual PCGS grade is lower.

    Because they don't know how to read what is under the toning. That is an easy high Au / low ms 58/62 range.

    Yes, the toning does make it tricky.

    I guessed 50, based onwhat I could see of luster and wear, but toning hides a lot. beautiful coin!

    I do think they were a little strict here. I wouldn't have quibbled with 55, but I think 53 is a teensy bit low, personally.

    Not that I really have any intention of resubmitting it.
