A basic question for all of you that have posted so far with trades. Have any of the transactions been International ? With the cost & risks involved, would an International trade be worth it ? Or are all your trades with the same country as you ? ( keep it simple ) Personally I cant see it as a viable option, what do you folks think ?

This one is from @seth77 : It was a joy to finally receive, as the package went back and forth between our countries due to the delivery service tearing (destroying), the package and address! A lovely gift from @jamesicus A purchase from @John Anthony that used to belong to @Aethelred I've purchased a couple of coins from @Valentinian, including this scowler: And of course @Victor_Clark has a nice VCoins shop, whence Mr. Scowl's unfortunate brother: In response to a query above, I have not done international trades--indeed, very little "trading" at all. With the exception of one or two generous gifts, my interactions with CoinTalk exchanges have simply been purchases from members who have shops or who have vest pockets and a PayPal address.
If anyone wants to know why people get drunk during May 5....that coin is the reason why. The French tried to establish an empire in Mexico, and although the Battle of Puebla, fought on May 5, 1862 was a small victory in the struggle to eventually get rid of the French imperial forces in Mexico, it resonated enough with the locals that if became a major celebration over time. And now the US has done what they are good at, hijacked the holiday and turned it into a mass consumerism event where people are expected to spend an obscene amount of money on alcohol, and stuffing their mouths full of tacos, for no reason whatsoever (I doubt any of them has ever heard of the Battle of Puebla).
OH! And yes, since we are speaking of Holidays, this was captured from The @Sallent himself for National Zebu Day! Kings of Baktria Indo-Greek Apollodotos I Circa 180/174-165/160 B.C. Just by coincidence, the last three coins I bought can from MORTOWN, the eBay store of @Blake Davis. I have several nice secret Saturnalia coins from members, and I have bought numerous coins from members and not from members from @John Anthony auctions. My top coin from another member came from the Stevex6 collection: Calabria, Tarentum AR Nomos, 315-302 BC, 20.5mm, 8.00gm Obverse : Warrior, preparing to cast spear, holding two others and shield, on horse rearing. Reverse : Phalanthos, holding kantharos and trident, astride dolphin left; AP monogram to left; small dolphin below. References : Fischer-Bossert Group 70, 846 (V336/R657); Vlasto 600 (same obv. die); HN Italy 937; Gulbenkian 35 (same dies); Jameson 156 (same dies) EF, toned, excellent metal, exceptional style obverse from fresh dies. Ex JMG Collection (CNG 94, 18 September 2013), lot 15 From the Stevex6 Collection I hope Steve is doing well and wish he could start posting here again......... :-( John
Click on their screen name and a panel will open up. Unless they have blocked it you can then click "start a conversation". If they have blocked communication you are forced to speak publicly and draw their attention by using the format @mysteriousguy or whatever their screen name is. I guess you could also do a generic post saying that you have ancients to trade and anyone who wants to see them should send YOU a private message to get it started. Hope that helps.
I got this little gem from @ancientcoinguru ... However, as far as getting coins from her, it is difficult. We both collect virtually IDENTICAL coins, and are always butting up against each other in some auctions! She be my Coin-Twin-Sister with impeccable coin taste!
