Over the years I tend to alternate between buying rolls of ASE’s and cull dollars. I seldom look at them. Just place the rolls in the bottom of the safe to pass on to grandkids when I leave this party.... Well this is a rainy afternoon and the wife is gone with the kids so with the down time I plundered some of the rolls.

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened this roll. All common date Peace dollars but far from what I typically consider to be cull. I would bet every one of these would grade fine-extra fine. Truly a nice “Sunday” surprise.

Bravo! Now, if we could just everyone to look at what's inside their paper wrapped bank rolls to see if they have any treasures, instead of thinking they are worth more wrapped, we would be accomplishing something.

Nice roll of Peace Dollars. I'm happy you got more than what was expected.
