Thanks!! I love the dark crusty look it has. It's also seen some circulation, which really appeals to me history-wise.
Cool! I didn't want to come off any cash either. I brought a couple Silver Eagles, and some other bullion, sold it at the show and grabbed those last 2 coins with the proceeds.
It's one of those things, did I get a great deal on these? No, not really. I paid up, but I'm home enjoying them with NO regrets. I'm very happy with them!
The '54 is a nice original beauty too. Well done. The good stuff usually costs what it does for a reason.
A very scarce 1829 O-109a Capped Bust Half. The strike is weak, as is expected of this variety . . . A tough Choice BU 1914 Quarter Eagle . . . A very attractive 1833 O-106 Capped Bust Half. Despite the small scratch at 9:00 on the reverse, ANACS saw fit to grade it EF45 and I couldn't resist buying it. The coin is fully lustrous in the peripheries and the colors really pop in person . . . A better date 1893-S Half Eagle in PCGS MS63 PQ . . .
Oh man!! That 33 is KILLER!! ( really they all are) I'm totally hooked on 19th Century Half Dollars. That's a real showpiece!!
