2004 d jefferson nickel Hologram

    Picture says it all 2004 D with a hologram on it I don't understand it's absolutely mint the obverse got this at yard sale try to find out if its louis or clark lol and is it bench PMD??

    It's worth 4¢ the way it is. ;)

    Probably some promotional thingy by some garbage company that would target unknowing John Q Publics and be sold as rare and valuable.

    Yes.. Specialized Hologram added to it made outside the mint. Falls in the same category as silver, gold plated coins and colorized coins. All PMD

    What did you pay for it? That's just a nickel that somebody painted a design on... It's not a mint error and isn't significant as far as numismatics goes. If you think it looks cool then I'd say it's a keeper but it's not worth anything over 5 cents.

    Also that's not a hologram.

    Got 3 mint sets 93 94 95 also and some Persian Gulf 999 silver coins I don't know if I should post those I got those for $0.50 each now I'm sorry $0.50 for all three I can't find these commemorative either anywhere on the internet

    If you can't find your coins anywhere on the internet, it is likely that they aren't valuable. IMO, it is a good idea to know what you are buying and what its value is before you buy it.

    I understand but they say .999 silver on them they look proof like I don't want to waste anybody's time so let me know if I should post them that's all I'm asking thank you
