1960 nickel

    Found this 1960 nickel in a roll. It is very shiny and was wondering if it possibly could have come from a proof set at one time? It does have some damage from being circulated.

    Looks like a regular ol nickel to me

    They did make proofs in Philly that year, and it is in nice shape, but I don't think it is an impaired proof. Compare your coin to this photo of a 1960 proof:
