    I looked that grease up.

Not sure why you'd want to buy toxic chemicals to make your cents look shinier. If you do the math... it's costing you a lot more than 1 cent to clean each cent and you are exposing yourself and others to health hazards.

I've never heard of any other coin collectors using that grease.

One of my tellers called to say she had some “foreign” coins saved for me. Picked them up today:
    Euro
    20 Cent Euro
    Canadian 25 Cent
    1 Pence
    Mexican 5 Centavos
    Netherlands 10 Cent
I’m glad she thought the 1915 Barber Dime (my first one) and 192? Mercury Dime were “foreign”, lol. :woot:

Over the last two days I've done 6 boxes of dimes. first 5 were skunks, the 6th produced a lonely AU/BU 1964. But is ok, I'm still overjoyed with my major score last week.

The only way to make your coin collection worth more or look better is to find more coins and get some that are in high grade.

If everything else I've ever used hasn't killed me I'm not really worried about the grease. Made a 60s roll good enough for 6.51. And a mostly 77-82 roll 6.82.
I can't just buy any coin that strikes my fancy..
I have decent coins in flips. And making the penny collection better a little at a time.

1921 is a really great find in the wild, regardless of condition. Nice pick up!

I just set a new personal record. Going through cent rolls, opened up one and THREE wheaties rolled out of it. Previous record was two in a single roll. A 58, a 56, and a 34. Nothing earth-shattering but its still fun to find that many wheaties together in the wild.

Whenever I go to the bank, no matter what I want, I always ask for Dollar coins or half dollars. Most of the time the the tellers say they don't have any. Today was the second time I got half dollars and they were excited to get rid of them. I could see they were all clad from her teller tray but that doesn't bother me at all. I ended up getting 4 nice bicentennial 1/2's which I love to see! Collect what you Like ladies and gents! IMG_0305.JPG IMG_0304.JPG

I keep the nicest AU Kennedy Bi-Centennials, put them in plastic snap cases, and give them to tellers and the kids who dog sit for us.

Hey everyone, Me second 4 boxes for this week were the same as the first 4 boxes for this week. 3 skunks and the slight difference is I scored 1-68 instead of a 69. Yea!. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Tonight on my way home from work I stopped at the bank where 2 boxes of halves should have been waiting for me.

Unfortunately, the head teller, who is always very nice and helpful, was honest with me and told me she forgot to place the order. She promised she would have them for me next week. Then she hustled around and scrounged up 1 CWR and $10.50 in loose halves for me.

I had only $20 cash, so when she put the roll and the stack on her side of the counter she pulled 1 coin off the top of the stack. My beady eyes told me the coin she had pulled from the stack was silver, so I withdrew another $1 from my account (still barely above the minimum balance to avoid fees) and handed over my cash, she plopped the silver coin back on the stack, slid the roll and stack my way, and I slid them into my pocket and thanked her. The single lone silver made my day.

When I got out to my car I pulled the stack out of my pocket and saw this 5B71665D-728B-4105-8359-67543CD08356.jpeg 7, 40%ers. I think I’m in love :D

The CWR was a marked skunk from the dummy who’s dumping where he eats...Fool.

Age old question: Why do some CRHers dump where they eat?

I seriously have zero tolerance for this foolishness.
