42 D wheat cent grade opinions...

    Okay, I got this cent a little while back, and am currently going through my collection taking pics, and I just want to see what you guys think about it. All grade opinions and regular opinions are welcome. Thanks. Here she is:

    Im not guessin untill you can lose the glare, looks cleaned and pink NOW, try a little less direct light

    Yeah, I've seen you post some really good pics before, like the last run of raw cents, try those setings again, they were beautiful

    Is this one I sent you Phoenix???? If its one I sent you, Id say atleast MS70 Maybe even MS71, real beauty worth millions. LOL, I had it pegged as MS65 in my eyes. But we both know Im new at trying to grade MS coins.

    the surfaces and strike look great, it is hard to grade due to the unnatural lighting, and there are 3 different colors on the pics posted, 1 is orange and the others are kinda pinkish.

    I'm sure Phoenix will come back with some better pics with natural look to them

    I think he did a great job at gettign the color right on the one set of pics, and I agree with Cody, I think it's a 66.

    Hey guys, I'm going to try to get better pics tonight, I had to put my collection up, have friends visiting htat have a JAck Russel that I guess is a numismatist so to speak. :D :p Thanks for the opinions so far!

    Oh well if thats the one I sent you as trade, Its atleast MS71. Maybe even Higher. Get that baby slabbed, finest known to exist. Worth millions maybe even billions.

    Thanks, I guess I know what to do know for taking pics, lol. Thanks for the comments and opinions! Now my opinion of the coin in hand, it has a beautiful Red color, nice strike, and for some reason those rims really catch my eye. I was thinking it's about a 64/65 Red, so I wasn't too bad off. Thanks all! And there is still more to come!

    These pix are much easier to see. I think it is a solid 65 with a shot at 66.

    $2 - $10 and the $10 is NGC certified (66).
