I ran across these and know little about world coins. The price guides do not seem helpful. Any help with values would be appreciated. At least one appears to be a Top Pop but I am not 100% on that either!

You want information on just the coins or the slabbed coin as a whole?
The Accugrade Slabs are so old you might not get any more information on them.

Just looking for the individual ballpark values. The gold coins are at least worth melt but I cant find any premium on them, if any. I am unable to find comparable sales for the graded NGC coins.

Did you search ebay recently sold listings? Not a terrible indicator of what things are selling for.

It is interesting to read about the rarity of the Mazard coins .... they just seem are tricky to value with no similar graded comps.

Looking on NGC (& Heritage) at the closest Retail Values:

    1868A - France 1 Franc - MS-60 = $75 (no higher grades listed)
    1848 - Essai France 3 Centimes- MS-63 = $200-300 est. (found @ Heritage)
    1811A - France 20 Franc (Gold) - VF-35 = $345 (VF-20) to $475 (XF-40)
    1812A - France 20 Franc (Gold) - XF-40 = $475

In all honesty, you're going to need to find someone who specializes in classic French coinage and knows the market well to really be able to price these accurately.

After the research I have done, I agree.

I might reach out to some auction sites for input. It doesnt look like GC does much with world coins. I suppose that leaves Heritage, David Lawrence, etc.? Does anyone have any suggestions? Might need to make a new thread....

Skip the US auction houses and look at auction houses in France.

Did you try MA Shops based in Europe? You may get lucky and find a match plus I think some of the dealers may list sold items
