This arrived today. Not very photogenic but it is a very nice coin in hand. Nice toning. Very even. The seller's photo made it look even worse so I got it at a nice price.

Here is a Scottish penny I picked up of Alexander III.

They get pricey & was happy to get it below the going rate.

Got this today, for my Eagle collection. I got a double deal on this one. 1) it only cost me $3.71 using my Ebay bucks. 2) Seller had it listed as UNC, but it's really a proof. It's still sealed in mint package, which is why photo is so bad. Coin is flawless.I'll wait until I pick up a 29mm capsule and take better photos out of the plastic.

Picked this up. The coins are most likely going to be terrible but I got it for what it is, an awesome and interesting letter. Looks like it's from world war 2.

From the Heritage CCE auction a few weeks ago. Much-much tougher coin than the 20 or 100 Piastres in gold with the same portrait, especially without problems. Nearly all of the 50p have either wear or other "issues". The 500 Piastres is of course far more expensive, but actually easier to find than the 50 Piastres without impairment. egy1923aa.JPG egy1923bb.JPG

Yes, Tibet 7-1/2 Skar. I am usually able to figure out dates, but have not had the patience to figure this one out yet. Somewhere between 1918 and 1926.

This 3 ruble came yesterday from Mother Russia. While I have a lot of bear coins, this one is better than most. I think it's a nice design. 2009 russia 3 rubles.jpg

    Got this one today...

You were right @Stork, I probably could have found a nicer one, but I’m happy with it.

    Stork I deliver

You could, but it would have taken awhile and you would have spent more. It looks pretty darn nice. I was worried about the seller photos, but it looks like you got a very nice one!

Here's the 100 yen I picked up recently...nicer than most raw ones and slabbed so I paid more. I can't tell you how many I've bought looking for one as nice based off seller's photos. So I sprung for the slabbed one (but not at too exalted a price). The cost of plastic would have saved me from 2-3 of the ones I bought that were disappointing.

I have an addiction to the hoo bird coins! Usually the 50 sens, but I like the 100 yens too!
