Hi everyone, I'm just starting to search paper currency and had a few questions about this dollar I came across today.

I know this is a trinary bill consisting of only 3 numbers but is it significant that it starts with a double number followed by 2 triple numbers? Does this appeal to collectors at all?

    Thanks for the help!

    Welcome to CT @VT4Pac .

Your note has an interesting serial number. If you are collecting strictly from circulation, and you like it, keep it. It looks to be in fairly decent condition but I doubt it carries any premium above face value.

If I saw that in a shop I would pay 3 dollars not a penny more

Thanks Steve, I appreciate it and will probably just keep it and start a collection even if doesn't have much value.
