    I wish there were a way it could lose those carbon spots. Anyway, I'm in the low MS camp for the hits on it. The strike quality is never consistent on these.

    I like the even luster on the coin, 62 if it didn't have the corrosion around the A rev.

    This one is perplexing to me. There are really subtle colorful tones on the coin that I'm not used to seeing on original copper.

    If it isn't cleaned/retoned or altered in some way then I wonder if the slab could have caused the odd coloring?

    It is a flat brown with some original red peeking out in a few places. There are no other colors. Bill Fivaz has seen this in hand, and he called it a problem-free AU-58.
