A stack of counterfeit $20 star notes found on LivePD tonight. Looked like they were photocopied as the serial numbers were the same. At least the few they showed close to the camera. If you going to copy... don't copy star notes.
LivePD is a Cable TV program that airs live on the A&E network Friday and Saturday nights. Camera crews ride along with 5-6 different Police/Sheriff Departments across the country. A little like COPS, but it’s all live....as it happens.
You don't even need to look at the serial for that. I can tell its fake just by looking at it; looks too soft and glossy.
A friend of mine works at Habitat for Humanity and called me to come over and see his first ever received fake $100 bill. I don't know that I would have ever caught it. Anyways . . . LIVE PD is so interesting! The first thing so many of the alleged criminals ask is: "AM I ON LIVE PD?" My daughter loves the Police Dogs.
LivePD feels too much like The Running Man for my liking. Cops has always been one of my favorite shows. It always felt highly educational: what not to do when confronted by a police officer. I tried watching the first few episodes of LivePD. I felt filming people at their worst and airing nationally on live television to be a bit distasteful and disturbing.
Paddy.... It's more fun than Monday night football. When you see the cops busting lowlifes in Columbia SC at the blue door hotel (a weekly occurrence) they are across the street from my office..... And that's just a bit disturbing. I remain well armed.....
