Quarter appears to be silver. Is there any way to verify without a scale? Did they ever make regular MS quarters in Silver? I am aware of the proofs.
They are normal Quarters that were plated as a novelty outside of the US mint. They can be found plated also in gold and platinum. They are considered damaged and worthless to true coin collectors.
Yea I've seen the Platinum variation and the gold, quite a shame people are tricked into believing they are worth something kind of like those colorised bills. The material is definitely silver. Have they plated phem in silver as well? Seems ludacLud
