GTG: Van Buren Token

    This is an HT-78 circa 1836 token. NGC pop: 8 in all grades. All but I believe 1 example is holed, and they straight grade them as such, since they were sort of made to wear anyway. This example came from an old New York estate, from a lady who ran an antique shop. Her family believes she purchased this token, along with about 60 other various tokens, from a single patron many decades ago. Guess the grade!

    ...complete guess as I know the standards for these are different than for coins.

    Here's a grading tip. It's gilt, and would lose the "gold" as it circulated and was worn over time.
