Have this 1979-D SBA dollar coin that appears to have a RPM.I searched online to see if there's any listings of this error to compare what I have and didn't find any thing.
Hope to get everyone's opinions and comments.

Welcome to CoinTalk.. You really need to start your own unique thread. You also need pictures! And please don't ask "how much it's worth?"..
And it is reffered to as a Die not Dye.
    Just helping a bit ;)

1979 was the year many of the mint mark punches for Denver were damaged, therefore leaving the appearance of a split serif on the bottom left of the D mintmark. This appears on all denominations but I believe is most notable on the cent.

  14. But its on the obverse site and its a rather usually big mark...and it also is the same depth in between the eagles legs.. I posted pictures....maybe you can see what you think..but I'm sorry not trying to be rude..but I have no clue what you are saying to look for on the mint mark?

  16. Oh wow..ok... Thank you for helping.. I appreciate it.. Ill take a look at it.. Gesh ..seriously I really really have a lot to learn.. I have a bunch of coins that my dad left me...but he passed last year.. And I never was into them until recently.. He was in the air force so I have all kinds and so many different ones.... So it really is nice to have expertise advice.. Do you only collect coins?.. Because I have an army of collectables and antiques that were left to me...that I dont know much at all about.
