1986-D 10 Cent planchett error?

    1986_D_10C_O1.jpg 1986_D_10C_R1.jpg 1986_D_10C_R2.jpg 1986_D_10C_E2.jpg 1986_D_10C_E1.jpg Going through my coins I found this 1986-D dime and it is very thin. The rim of the coin is very smooth and does not have a reeded edge.

    The dime weighs 2.09 grams.

    Nice pics IMO it appears to be what we refer to as a dryer coin, PMD(post mint damage). JMO

    I could very well be an error i have the same exact dime only you cant read the last part of the year

    No it is not a mint error. We gave the explanation. There are many damaged dimes that look just like it and you have one also.
