I’ve had this dime from being passed down in family to me and just noticed what may be doubling on O. Wanted another set of eyes. 157B5DB3-5793-4E8E-88CC-D29542FCCC3D.jpeg B9BB7C18-C24A-4874-8CAB-EB927CA278C1.jpeg 4DAAF49D-70B5-4DA1-8F3E-25B44DE0E134.jpeg

It looks like machine doubling to me. I still get a little confused about die doubling and machine doubling. I believe when the doubling is not on the same plane, it's machine doubling.

I'm sure some of the other members will provide you with more confident responses. Either way, it's neat.

The shelf like look to be MD...have you checked for rpm's on this series? There is an RPD and a mpd for this date and mm.

Can you get a better image of the date? The mpd look's possible

My barber book only mentions a 1906/6-O. That most certainly looks like a re-punch MM though.

I’ll get better image of date. I was wondering about that as well. I looked on the barber Society website for rpm’s and this date in mint Mark is not listed, but it sure does look like it on O.

Took these with my 5x Loupe. See if this helps at all. Thank you.

I saw that as well, but a 6:30 in the morning with my first cup of coffee, I couldn't think of what to call that area. Ribbon, lol, now I know.

Couple more to see if the ribbon has anything there.
