Need advice on this coin if you think it's an error coin and worth having it graded or what to do (Proof 2005 S). I am new to all of this coin collecting. It's a proof and part of the LIBERTY is in his hair (see picture). I bought this coin on eBay they got the coin in an auction - "WE ARE OFFERING SEVERAL DIFFERENT LOTS FROM THIS MEGA-HOARD OF PROOF COINS WHICH WE WON AT A ABANDONED STORAGE UNIT AUCTION."

Thanks in advance for any advice on this coin. backside of the 2005 error half dollar.jpg 2005 S - Half Dollar - Liberty error.jpg

I hope the pictures are good enough to tell.

It is not an error - they all look like that. Worth up to $5 or so, depending if it has any hairlines and problems since it was removed from the proof set.

Stay away from these listings. They are usually untrue. They tell these type of fancy stories to lure unknowing amateurs in.
    Sorry.

LIBERTY always looks the way it does. Just compare to other Kennedy Halves.
