If it is a rpm it would be this one the 002 but dirt and damage does not allow for a positive ID here's the 002 the 001 is punched north 1972SRPM002af.jpg
No need to waste your time thought this newbie knows it all!

Re read you post #6 duh! You asked a question recieved help from form members and then post it is an S/D when in fact it isn't...so you're confused alright to understand when someone is trying to give you an answer to your question but refuse to believe their answer...do you believe if you ask the question enough that finally you'll get an answer that pleases you?

It's true James. We were all Newbs at some point.

But there are members here that are experts on most US coin series. People come to this site every week claiming they have something they don't and in addition, refuse to listen to the members that give them feedback. It get's tiring.

Don't be offended. Just learn and all will be good.

In addition, everyone can learn something new every day both in this hobby and in life in general. I am no expert and I learn something new on this site every time I visit. So spend as much time reading threads that interest you and your learning curve will be that much shorter.

Hello James, looks like there is something there but not my area of knowledge. Maybe others will chime in. I suspect that one poster here hasn't had his morning coffee yet. Welcome to CT!

Look at the example provided of a small date. See how far away the "2" is from the rim?
