1962 D Lincoln Penny. ... Value: As a rough estimate of this coins value you can assume this coin in average condition will be valued at somewhere around 1 cent, while one in certified mint state (MS+) condition could bring as much as $29 at auction. This price does not reference any standard coin grading scale.
No one in there right mind would pay 30 dollars for that coin. Throw it back in the piggy bank!!!! PS cointrackers is not always the most reliable
Why ask if you're just going to argue and/or present copy/paste jobs from poor websites in order to dispute what you've been told? You have a very AU-ish very common cent that can still often be found in such condition in circulation. There's nothing wrong with it as a collectible if you like it, but it simply isn't something any knowledgeable individual would pay any premium for.
Maybe it would be worth that much if graded MS-69, which is obviously A LOT higher than the one you have.
