got this new scaner thats got super close up and i found this 1944 s what do they call this type of S
if we could see a bit below the MM, the bottom of the 'S' looks like it has a seconday top serrif of the 'S' .. would bt interesting to see below it to see if there are any remnants of a second MM... not sure if what it think is even possible, but thats how it looks.
now i am confused lol this last pic makes the MM look like its punch 'into' the coin. It almost looks like a different coin. but, based on the last picture, it doesnt look (to me nehoot) like another MM is there, or ever was there. So im not sure what it is.
