Nice one! Luster and Peace dollars too often are self contradictory terms. You scored!:woot:

Thanks, to say I was pleased when I opened it up today. Would definitely be a understatement. A trip to CAC may be in her future?

I have not been buying a lot of coins lately, been saving up for the Sedwick Treasure Auction but I had to pick this up at my local coin show for the price it was at.

Picked this up earlier this afternoon. It's nice and flashy and mark free for an '81-O.

Love that Texas!! I've been wanting one of these to go with my Oregon Trail, both are my favorite designs from the Classic Commemorative Series. I'm torn between a nicely toned one such as your's or a blast white. One thing I know for sure is it has to be well struck and I can see your's is. Nice buy...

Here's one I had sitting on my desk in a 2x2 that I completely forgot about. I have a couple dimes coming soon from the same forgotten pile. I don't know how I set these aside and forgot them. LOL

So YOU won that one from HA. I was close to bidding on it. The silver mole kept me from pulling the trigger. Otherwise, I love the color progression on the coin. Nice pick up Bill. I'm not trying to belittle the coin Bill. I thought long and hard about bidding on it.

There was a 1887 MS63 "*" that I was willing to buy for the right price. That price was easily surpassed. I really loved the crescent toning progression on the coin, but I couldn't get past the cheek chatter, so I stopped bidding on it. The premium was too much.

I ended up winning a reverse toner, 1887 MS65 in a PCGS holder. It's very nice. But at the moment, I just need to put the brakes on my purchases. I've added a lot of coins to my collection so far this year. I now need to take a breather because spring is here and I need to allocate funds to the typical spring outdoor expenses.

The only exception I'll make right now is in adding beautiful peace dollars to complete my collection. Specifically, "S" mint peace dollars.

It wasn’t even on my track list but I remembered I liked it and thought it was going reasonable so I bid. I figured there was a little profit left in it I missed a couple seated quarters I liked when I was driving too I would have bought
