    I think I see what you are referring to but IMO I don't believe that would be considered a die crack. JMO

    There is nothing there. If it were a die crack or cracked planchet you would be able to see clearly. Even zoomed in, your pictures show nothing of the sort. Sorry.

    I see no die crack - just
    a stained coin, from circulation.


    Nothing special about it, unless
    you'd care to be more specific
    about what you see, and we can't.

    I don't see a die crack or a split planchet. Both should be easily visible.

    This is one one of those things that is dufficult to tell from a photo. It could be a crack but it's not likely in the way it is laid out as it is not a common location for a die to crack to form. Most likely it is an old scratch. Possibly from a teller opening a box with a blade. Good eye though. Get a decent USB microscope and it will be easier to tell.
