Box penny finds. 82 small date?

Checking a box of pennies before work this morning came across a copper 1982 small date. Tell me what you think thanks! I'll add what I find.

It appears to be a small date based on the pic you provided here a pic y ou can compare to.

How about a weiner?

 

They had one of those at a grocery store near me not too long ago. Free hot dogs and you could mail a postcard of the weiner mobile to anyone you wanted. Oh and free weeny whistles for the kids

Nice find! The small dates are not as common as the large dates, and that is a tougher coin.

 

Now I would like to eat a hot dog with French mustard, if get sauerkraut... add that please... recently had some boiled cottage roll with cabbage and a potato...only to realize that ”someone” didn’t buy any “french(y)” mustard. (that would be me). Just not the same without the yellow stuff...

Only thing I see other then it being a small date is the die crack on the reverse. But here lately that's all I can see or find.

 

Settle for a big chocolate chip cookie with walnuts and a cold glass of milk chaser...

 

I only put the back up to show condition but good eye. I only weight it n took a picture both sides before running work

Went through a bucket full od 88's. Not a one with the 89 reverse. Glad to see others finding stuff
