1934 (d?) buffalo nickel

    Does the mintmark look like a d? I also see it resembling an “f”...

    Worth anything beyond face value?

    Um...I see no mintmark. If you are talking about the 'F' below the date, that is the designer's initial and not the mintmark.
    That is a 1934 Buffalo nickel minted in Philadelphia.

    Agreed. OP - Do you know where the mint mark is located on a buffalo nickel? It should be below the E and C in FIVE CENTS on the reverse.
